Join Drew as he explores the tidepools just steps from the Overleaf Lodge. In this video, you’ll see mussels, sea stars, anemones and rock crabs, and you’ll learn a bit more about our next-door neighbors.
Drew describes the sea star wasting disease that significantly impacted populations in the area. Surveys show that sea star populations at Cape Perpetua have rebounded to nearly triple the number that were present the year before the outbreak.
