Our 50th anniversary! Best time ever, as our second trip. Didn’t know it would be our last together. My hubby passed less then two years after this was taken. My daughter and I returned on our anniversary date to return him to the sea, which I’m sure he loved.

The tides were amazing. I sat on my balcony until 1:30 am watching the tide come in under the full moon. The next day, I walked for hours, mesmerized by both the power and serenity of the ocean. It was wonderful to be in the hotel surrounded by the beautiful and cozy environment you’ve created.

Thomas and I had the absolute best trip we could’ve asked for at Overleaf Lodge & Spa. We had perfect weather and just enjoyed ourselves exploring the beach and relaxing. The spa was also a big highlight for us. But the biggest highlight of all…WE ARE ENGAGED!!!!

We got married in Yachats on September 3rd. It was the most beautiful location. Our 180-degree ocean view room was a dream, as well as all the special things the staff did for us. Everyone we met at Overleaf was so kind. The event center was beautiful. We can’t wait to come back.
