Dads Deserve An Oceanside Escape, Too

• Destress at Overleaf Spa. From warm water soaking tubs overlooking the ocean to a special facial designed especially for men, Overleaf Spa is your place to fully relax. Or try a deep tissue massage to soothe areas of chronic pain.
• Uncork a bottle of wine or pop open a beer. Visit the Overleaf Lodge Wine Cove to pick a bottle of Oregon-made wine. We’ve got reds, whites and sparkling varieties. Logo glasses are available for purchase (they make a great keepsake!). Or find a selection of craft beers inside our guest pantry. Enjoy your beverages inside our comfortable lobby— a game of chess, anyone?—or feel free to enjoy them in your room.
• Pick the perfect picnic. Order 24 hours in advance from our selection of thoughtfully curated picnics, which include wine or beer and a variety of snacks, many of them produced in the Pacific Northwest. There are nonalcoholic options, and you can even build your own basket!
• Work it in the workout room. Exercisers, we’ve got the room for you, including an elliptical trainer, free weights, a stationary bike, a treadmill and a weight trainer. Bonus? The workout room has an incredible view of the ocean!
• See the great outdoors. Low tide is a great time to explore the local tidepools or walk the long stretch of sand to the north of Overleaf Lodge where the 804 Trail ends at beach access. If a scenic drive is more your speed, head to the Cape Perpetua Scenic Area, south of Yachats, to see some of the Oregon coastline’s classic formations: Devils Churn, the Cape Perpetua Overlook, Thor’s Well and Spouting Horn. By staying at Overleaf Lodge, you’re contributing to the Cape Perpetua Collaborative, important stewards of this area.
• Enjoy s’mores by the campfire. Our summer tradition is back on select weekends for guests of Overleaf Lodge & Spa. Campfires start at 6:45 p.m. at the Fire Circle just north of the lodge and burn until 8:30. Get to know other guests while taking part in this favorite summer pastime.
• Kick your feet up. Sometimes the best thing to do is to stay in your room. And don’t we know it?! Every room at Overleaf Lodge has an ocean view. Don’t feel like eating out? Order takeout from a Yachats eatery and savor the meal (and a glass of wine) on your balcony.
