Canned Food Drive

Annual Canned Food Drive
In the Overleaf Lodge & Spa and Fireside Motel’s most recent campaign to serve the Oregon Coast community with a canned food drive, almost 10,000 pounds of cans were donated to South Lincoln Resources, a local nonprofit that works in southern Lincoln County.

For almost a decade, the Overleaf Lodge & Spa has […]

Empty Nesters’ Escape

The kids have grown up and gone—now what? Over the years, family vacations have probably included plenty of theme parks and petting zoos. Now is the perfect time to try the kind of travel you couldn’t during the kid years. For many couples, the answer to this question might be as simple as a trip […]

Couples Coastal Weekend

Unpretentious in nature, Yachats is a place where the coast is the coast; here residents and visitors alike come because they like the beach, without all the bells and whistles, or crowds; perfect for a couples weekend.

Family Friendly Adventures

The ultimate destination for family fun, the Oregon Coast offers something for everyone. A beach day should be part of every visit unless weather absolutely prohibits; in that case there is always the visitors center at Cape Perpetua or the two aquariums in Newport.  Yachats offers plenty of chances for exploring the coast. Filled with […]

Beachcombing

Beachcombing is all in the timing. Two to three hours after high tide, a fresh layer of sea finds are exposed on the sand. Go for a stroll on any beach near the Overleaf Lodge & Spa and you’re likely to find agates, jasper, driftwood, petrified wood, marine fossils, shells, and maybe even a glass […]

Central Coast Golf Trail

World-class golf in a timeless setting
Standing on the Oregon coast, it’s hard to believe that the birthplace of golf is more than half a world away, and not around the next bend in the road. Maybe it’s the sea air, the rhythm of the tides or the rugged beaches. Maybe it’s the emerald green of […]

Susy Margarita Gomez

My girlfriend and I had never been to the Pacific Northwest. So, for her birthday, we decided to drive from Seattle to San Francisco down the 101 - it was truly a trip of a lifetime. We spent her Birthday at the Overleaf and could not have asked for a better experience. I called ahead and notified the front desk of the special event, and asked if they offered any special accommodations. The receptionist couldn't give me an answer at that moment, but said she'd work on it. When we got to our room, there were flowers and complimentary wine glasses. Thank you Overleaf! You made our trip all that more special, we will absolutely be back!
